10pm w/BETTY BLACK (when the real fireworks begins!) 10PM - Betty Black is the name given by Sylvia Gordon to one of her several solo projects (better known from the band KUDU). This dark and sultry incarceration combines heartfelt songwriting with lush slide guitars and synths to conjure up scenes from a David Lynch film set in a gothic dusty SouthWest. A more slow and mature Sylvia can be heard lamenting lost love and covering well loved new wave or rock songs by turning them on their head and entrancing listeners into a slow seductive dance.
